I'm doing the Black Park XC race, basically a low key dirt crit promoted by our club. Sadly I can see several elite riders on the start sheet already!

i have 3 choices of bike packed incase of snow - fixie tricross - 32:18 SS or a 14 inch pink (jaynes old bike)scott hardtail with gears - was all i had in the shed with gears fitted !
nah nick is a pool swim - my girlfriend wanted to do it - as driver i wasnt sitting about in fort william all morning so i entered too - havnt been in a pool since september - winging it 😉

I am taking the soul.. which needs returning to XC build this afternoon.
it is currently built all burly and gnarly..
it was a good event last year.. though I am in nowhere near as good condition this year as last.
im in ok nick for the bike - but im overweight (comparitively for me)
having a bit of an artificial off season before hitting hard in mid may/june for an end of season peak - after the puffer effort.
then next year ill be in bad nick - looking like winter off shore in equitorial guinea

Road crit (well, circuit) at Salt Ayre, Lancaster. Run under TLI rules. Last time we had Matt Cranshaw of Rapha Condor dishing it out 🙂
Black Park here too. It's not far away and it's absoplutely p**ing down at the moment, thunder and lightning too.
