I did. Great event. Nice atmosphere and a good course even if it was a proper body beater in places!

Was riding solo and was close to throwing in the towel at 3hrs so very pleased that I managed to rally round and go for 12.5hrs.

Top day out it was ๐Ÿ™‚

I rode it and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Was my first ever race and entered in a pair but was absolutely knackered after it - massive well done to you! (and anyone who competed solo)
Waiting for the results to come out to see my times and just how much better everyone else was that us ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Glad the weather held up for it, has been torrential rain ever since so we definately got lucky!

Good going crispo. Wouldn't a race without finishing rinsed. Well done.

Also glad is didn't rain, that wind was pretty chilly and if it started to rain I think my knees would have well and truly fell off!

Terrahawk and Twinkly Dave did it. They seemed to do all right.

Bit of an understatement there MrSparkle ๐Ÿ˜‰ I was getting dizzy from the number of times that they lapped me!

rode it last year in a team but did the Sam Houghton challenge this year instead, which was excellent - good route and very good atmosphere. Definitely doing it again in 2012.

Which kit were terrahawk and twinklydave in?

The number of times people in lycra just cruised past me as I was dying up the final hill making it look flat was rediculous! Personally I was very happy for my first race, as a pair we made 15 laps, however somehow i got lumbered with the run and the additional lap!

Best pint of Ewe Tosser ever in the Dog and Partridge afterwards too!

We (we = the guys in the green/blue EUCC tops.) were there, great race. Excellent course, and a most excellent battle with Hope for first place in the teams - despite a puncture we clawed it back to finish just 29secs behind them. I think we'll be back next year to have another crack at them ๐Ÿ˜‰

Top work by the top two pairs though, they both lapped us - they were on a proper mission.

me and Dave looked like this
http://www.sportsunday.co.uk/photo10576750.html

however there were 5 riders in total wearing the same design jersey (and all 5 of us made the podium!)

chuffed that me and Dave won the entire thing for the 2nd year running though ๐Ÿ˜‰
*smug*

How come the first laps are all 3 times the length of the others ?

Must try & do this next year.

First laps are all really short, not long, cos it was the initial run to the bikes.

I was there and realy enjoyed it, the marshals and support staff did a great job, very friendly and even the fast lads were patient with an old duffer like me (Gary Fisher top).

See you next year.

My brief thoughts here:

www.killerkielder.co.uk

Brilliant course, would be good to get a bit more lap time info on the day but you can't have everything.

Apologies to all who had to witness me cross the finish line.
