Went to shed, bike had puncture. Fixed puncture (are those rims glued on??!). Got cold fingers. Rode a mile, got another puncture. Walked home. Will try again today
Only got out for an hour locally but fantastic fun. Some trails were riding after than they've done for months despite a couple of inches of snow.
Nice pictures ask! It took me a while to recognise the route up and the wider picture of the old road in the middle. I might have a spin up there later if other jobs have been ticked off!!
An hour and a half through Buck Woods and up Baildon Moor, Bradford.
Absolutely knackering, but absolutely brilliant!
And my bike is clean! No mud!!

12 mile round trip for a paper. Not one slip from my Ice Spikers.
Don't spikes take the fun away?. I left my Small Block 8s on with around 10psi in them, loads of fun ๐

Having seen lots of people pushing bikes today when I was riding I'd have to say no ๐

No photos but out for a bit, great fun and only one off. Tyre setup good but hills were a bastard!
3 hours up the Kilpatricks this morning. No snow lower down, but some up there.
No photos, it was too bloody cold to stop!
Just got back from 20 miles round tunnel hill.
I'm now officialy dead.
The Digswell Winter Squad went out, four stacks and......... then Bramfield
Trying to avoid a massive puddle I had crashed through I advised our eldest member, 54 to go round, what we thought was ground was a three foot drainage channel. Despite going in to waist height he held the bike up high and climbed out. So we called in at the nearest pub, bacon sandwiches and called International Rescue for him. The remaining two carried on.
13 glorious miles round Woburn.
Absolutely loved it today! Cracking ride!

Snow drifted to about 2ft deep on this trail... Not sure how impressed my mate will be that i have posted this picture though!
Me. 20km or so.
Jealous of the BBQ!
Some great photos here.
22 miles round the chase today. First time in deep snow but I loved it - hard work on the ups, fun on the downs and a few hilarious falls. Bostin ๐
20 odd miles in the Pentlands for me today, huge fun on my old Kona Kilauea. Tons of grip and no offs
Lots of good banter from folks about too. No pics sadly as phone battery died as usual.
Exhausted now but a toasty glow from a fun day
Bloody enigmas are everywhere! Mine looked like Kuco's ^^ after 20 miles with eyerideit this morning. Lots of fun!
Went for a ride around Devil's Punch Bowl via Gibetts Hill and some cheeky single track on the way home. Great to be out, only 2nd proper ride in as many months.

Bushed after 2:30 ride around devils Punchbowl. Fun climbs and descents on Thursley Common and the higher bits on the Punchbowl - I avoided the main BW after Higfhfield Lane (?)/cattle grid and had a few adventures in the deep snow on some of the paths at the top. Nice of the quad bikes to have a few tracks in places!!! Not a single person passed except for the sledgers on Rodborough common. Great laugh in the snow but noticeably colder that yesterday morning. Only just got in before the light went, Feet de-thawing now.....Aaargh
Only intended to go out for a little 15km spin this morning, but it was actually really nice and grippy so I stayed out and ended up getting nearly 40km in. Apart from a couple patches of sheet ice, my Rubber Queen and X King combo coped brilliantly with the conditions (as they did with all the wet and mud recently) - for the riding I do I might have found a decent all-year round tyre setup!
Nice work Rocketdog, bacon and sausages cooked out on a ride taste so much better.
Murr and I did a 40 mile epic over the Lomond and Cleish hills. the road sections joining the trails were equally challenging. Top ride, just made it back before darkness fell. Good endurance training for the Puffer for Murr.
