Afternoon all, Im seriously considering a Cotic Solaris and I believe clearance on the rear is pretty tight with decent tyres on?
Is there a particular front mech which gives more clearance?

Website says - Front Mech: 34.9mm (Top Pull)
Their own build just says XT

Yeah will do that. I thought I read somewhere about people taking a hacksaw to mechs to give more room?

pretty standard on 29er with dual pull mech. cut off the bottom pull arm for tyre clearence.

Yes, XT, top pull and I cut off the bottom pull bit, still a bit tight especially with a 2.25" Ralph on the back, yet to try it in claggy mud...

Got a SRAM one on mine. No cutting down and works fine
