Iv finally decided to stop being gloomy about not doing the race (and loosing money) and work out what to do instead.

Booked a couple of weeks off to Drive around the Alps in August. A lot of the time will be spent with the other half but still plenty of time for biking. I prefer off the beaten track type riding - using lifts + leg power. The type of stuff Trail addiction used to do ๐Ÿ™

Can either hire guides or follow GPX's
Usually go to France but this year I fancy Switzerland or the Dolomite's.
Inspiration please ๐Ÿ™‚

Garda works well as a holiday with something for other half too.
Shuttle uplifts depart from Torbole.

Finale would be a good option but possibly a bit too hot to ride in August.

Sorry to jump in on his thread, but can you tell me more please, bike hire stuff too would be ace, we're in Iseo in Aug and i wouldn't mind a trip over to Garda for some fun would be ideal.

As long as there are big mountains to hike up the other half will be happy.

Weeksy, Have a word with Michael about uplifts, guiding, bike hire, basically anything to do with biking in Garda. He's a friend who spends all Summer out there.

Seconded. Did a few days with Michael when on a family holiday. He sorted me a Liteville 301, an uplift and some quality guiding!
