We love them. Please recommend some good ones. Looking for swoopy, bermy, pumpyness. I am especially interested in any less obvious ones.
Cheers.
Cheers for that Rorschach. I was more asking about mountain bike trails. I keep reading on here that every new trail that is built is just a glorified BMX track as they are cheap to make. I just wondered where the best ones are.
That Facebook page is excellent though!
No
I'm just trying to plan my Easter weekend. I was hoping to go somewhere new.
Where are you and how far do you want to travel ?
England or Wales would be good. Scotland is probably a bit far. If I can't find anywhere else we might too back to Brechfa. It's that style of trail I'm interested in.
The blues at bike park wales? (although the most obvious ones)
We've done BPW a few times but it's a good shout.
Cwmcarn ?
Llandegla?
Van road is where you want to go just around the corner from Cwmcarn
That A470 Line at BPW looks awesome.
Penmachno has a new ' sculpted' bit don't it? Not ridden it yet mind but there was plenty moaning about its bmxtrackness on here so should fit the bill.
If you are relatively local to Parkwood Springs in sheffield it might be worth a trip (although I'm yet to venture there but seems to meet the spec).
Lee quarry, especially Cragg has lots of swoopyness (top of Lee Quarry), and has a couple of pump tracks in varying states depending when you visit. This remains my favourite trail centre in england (so far).
I like this "nu school" type of trail, fast, flowey, smile inducing...
Thanks guys.
The A470 line looks great but I would probably want an uplift for BPW.
Llandegla was good laugh last time we were there and might be worth a shout. The Penmachno is a different type of trail I didn't like it very much. To be fair it might be more fun when it isn't a river all the way along.
We have never been to Lee/Cragg quarry, so this could be the winner.
Cheers for the suggestions.
Some limited flowy bermy stuff at Blaen Garw, but definitely worth the detour to do the whole thing if driving along the M4 heading west. Shame it is seen to be a bit off the beaten track and rather short as the trail itself is a cracker.

We really liked Blaen Garw and Cym Rhyder is probably my favourite ever trail. It was just pure fun, all the way down.

Lee Quarry? in BankHoliday weather?
Good lord.
ignore me, i'm an idiot, i'm sure it'll be fine...
Oh?
Why?
*cancels tent pitch*
Lee and Cragg are high up and unsheltered by trees like the usual trail centres, worth checking the forecast beforehand. I've never aborted a trip there though, probably just been lucky.
There's a weather forecast on their site

Currently looking good for the weekend.
Oh yeah it's not well waymarked so check their site for a map. Ive been quite a few times and still struggle to find the bit up to cragg.
Thanks for the video Jay. That looks just the ticket.
Did you make it up there over the weekend? Perfect weather for it!
Urm.
*looks sheepish*
Sorry. We decided to go to South Wales instead.
We will definitely try Lee Quarry later in the year. We just couldn't face the longer journey on the Easter weekend.
I'd say that's a fair decision - especially if South Wales is closer! I only live 40 mins away from Lee Quarry.
I'd say do it if you're up this way rather than making a trip especially for it!
