On my hack commuter steed the rear hub has just about given up the ghost. the cones come loose within a couple of rides, and the professional's opinion of them was that the hub is pretty rutted. So the wheel clunks around quite a lot
But does that matter for a commuter anyway? apart from being a bit annoying will anything go properly wrong, like the hub falling about at speed and me falling in front of a lorry or something?
