Hi Chaps,

Just wondering if anyone else shares my pain, the local woods are being churned up by motocross bikes at the moment. Not seen them, but see their results.

Really annoys me, as its illegal, and the local woods contain Great Crested Newts, so the pollution, noise and disturbance really impacts them.

There aren't that many cyclists in the woods, and it's used by walkers and locals really in a very quiet area of the world.

Unhappy face.

Ricks

I share your pain, me and some friends built some trails in our local woods- they weren't used much but for a few dumped cars and a hangout spot for some lager louts. They were quite popular for a few years and the local kids had somewhere to ride their bikes with some like minded people.

We built them up over the space of a decade from the early 90's.

Then about 4 years ago a group of chavs on bikes decided to try and 'improve' our jumps and berms and basically ruined the lot. We had problems with MX chavs tearing the jumps to shreds too.
The final nail in the coffin was when the council turned up and levelled it all. ๐Ÿ™

Keep your trails quiet and hopefully you won't attract the local troublemakers.
