Well (and I can't believe I'm having to explain this).
'From' is often used in adverts to suggest that if you want the model in the picture then it'll cost more, but the basic spec is £x
So that's potentially misleading - it often gets complaints to the ASA.

However, in this case, it's done the opposite, in that you thought it meant the above, but in fact doesn't. You can actually get the pictured model for the advertised price of £2499.
I'm not even sure there is even a higher model (XX1, dual position, CCDBACS is all I can think of), so perhaps the 'from' was just left in from a page template by the artworker or something.

So you're saying it doesn't make sense? I agree with you.
I believe clarification is needed.

I hope everyone is keeping a note of their time spent, so that STW can invoice On-One for consulting related to at a minimum the following: QA, Proof Reading, Marketing, backoffice IT and website design.

Excellent, now all we need to clear up is when it will "actually" be available
(I think the 'from' in the advert was maybe meant to be in front of the date not the price) 😆

That is a pretty good deal, even the wheels (usual cheap-out point) seem pretty decent, no reverb stealth (nit picking now 😆 )

it's basically a one-bike attack on my On One toy-throwing

looks like a great bike and bang in my line-of-sight for bike spec and ethos. However, should it need a rear triangle "upgrade" ala its sister Nukeproof, previous threads have proved the level of support you'll get is down to the whim of the honchos and whether youre a fanboi.

Looks great. Definitely on my (very) short list.
Any idea of weight. I'm a fat knacker so it probably doesn't matter that much. I'll just lose some blubber.

Nice riding by those guys. I'm sure though they could ride nearly as quick on a rigid hardtail. They were naturally quick.
What was that guff in the beginning being cool in a pub and hot tub?

Think about the bike name 😉 pain killers cure for a hang over?

EDIT

It's classic marketing you associate things you want to sell with things that people already like.

So a very goodnight out followed by a ride the next day on a epic bike being a cure for the hangover perfect weekend in some peoples minds...

It dawned on me the other day that i've ridden one, Ed Oxley's during a skills day. Can't tell you much about it though as it was a couple of sizes too small for me and pretty much was sat on its backside owing to my considerable mass!

Doesn't look like a big wheeler in that vid and that's a good thing. Great riding too.

Avid Trail brakes are ace.

XT were going in as an option, but we have no stock of them currently.

That vid reminds me of Chainspotting and the Bike (graphically) looks like it's made by Easyjet. I'm tempted though.

A weighed, built, 18in model with spec as on there (reverb, TL28's etc) is 30.06lb

Website has the weight at 30lbs, I assume that's a medium?

Edit: Beaten to it by the man himself.

Does absolutely nothing for me personally, but that don't stop it being a lot of bike for £2.5k.

Nice looking spec for the money. How would the large frame size up for someone 6ft 4? The horizontal top tube and reach figures look reasonable and similar to other brands' xl frames. The website says size large recommended for riders upto 6ft 2.

If you can get leg extension with a 20in seat tube, you're good to go.
I'd have said it'll be great.

Colours are blue or white. Both with Orange decals.

Obviously I'm an on one h8er but... **** me that's incredible value. And a lovely blue too. Came for the white, stayed for the blue.

Is the frame not stealth/internal dropper post compatible? Can't see any facility for it...

No. I wasn't happy with what it was doing to the fatigue test results on the seat tube and didn't want to hold things up longer until I fixed it.

Fair enough that. SO I take it you can extend that to "don't drill a hole in it"!
