I'm on hols from tomorrow for a week and am planning to cycle up Snowdon. Date not fixed but an early, say 0600, start to avoid the curfew. Anyone fancy joing me?

I've always wanted to do this. What is the deal with the curfew, I heard something about 'voluntary' times and dates on which is it aloud.

It has been agreed that between the hours of 10.00 am and 5 pm from 1st May to 30th September cyclists should not cycle on the Snowdon bridleways.

in which case 6 should be fine. When we did it one cold January, it took 2:45 to push up (we rode little bits but not much) and less than 15 minutes to come down. Another option is to start your walk at 3pm, get to the top, breather until curfew lifts and then blast down.
