Well, we did it again!
Last year we climbed up in the late afternoon and it was cloudless sky and when the sun went down we were treated to a fantastic display of stars.
This year could not have been more different: wind and rain and cloud cover from just about the half way house. Didnt leave Llanberis until near 430pm but got a wriggle on and got to the summit in just over 2 hours.
I think we gave the night porters / cleaners a bit of a scare as we got kitted up and prep'd and ready for the off! It was vry cold and you couldnt see jack - even less when we got the lights on!
Had a good run with plenty of stops for snaps and to watch each other session bits and take the lead.
Only one of our party (Capain Crash) had a fall on a slippery rock set leading down to the second bridge but nothing to bad.
Had great brake fade on the road section at the end.
Glad to have done it in two completely different weather conditions. The memory of riding the last section up to the top in such limited visability will remain with me for a very long time!
Happy days!

Check out the conditions we experienced on the way to the top!
