Hi There can anyone tell me the time it takes to cycle up Snowdon and back down on the Llanberis track, i know this time of year its out of bounds between 10am till 5pm hence wanting to try and do it before 10am
as we are up there at this weekend, a rough guide on tme would be most helpfull. Thanks

I'd give yourself 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

give yourself a good three hours to get up. you can walk the Llanberis path in about 2hrs if you're fit and with a bike it's always going to be slower!

Two to three hours to get up and down.

Should be easy to do it in the eve at this time of year.

Much better to do it in the morning as most of the people you will encounter will be facing towards you going up rather that late in the eve when everyone is heading down.

Good point if the OP is going down the Llanberis path highclimber.

Not so important on Rangers I'd say, it's been deserted both times I've done it.

The OP said he was doing the Llanberis but yes, the Ranger will be all but deserted in the eve.

Thanks guys thats most helpfull, i might go up Lianberis and come down the Ranger. ๐Ÿ˜ฏ
