whats GT like ? mabie, ae - anyone know?
Yeah 7 stanes website or their blog isn't giving much info, from experience Glentress and Inners might well have a good covering at higher levels.
Best trail centres to avoid the snow are always Mabie, Dalbeattie and Drumlanring
try Dalbeattie ive always found it escapes the worst of the weather while all the rest of the 7stanes are covered in snow that place is mostly clear
drumlanrig totally clear
lee quarry, gisburn
Kent, its still 80 in the shade here
haldon hill exeter.
Lakes is clear and the forecast is pretty clear for the next few days
Evesham is frosty but snow free
Peebles/Glentress snow free at the moment.
No snow in Portsmouth
Glentress/Peebles now snowing heavily.
No snow yet in Dumfries but a small amount forecast for tonight and Saturday morning. Shouldn't stop the fun at any of the local centres, further west might be the best for staying clear (i.e. mabie/ dalbeattie). RAC Rally at Ae this Sunday so all trails are closed for the day.
I'd be surprised if the Lakes doesn't get a decent amount of snow if it arrives here.
Going out hopefully on Sunday so am optimistic for a good day, snow or no snow!
