I'm planning on going out in the morning what tyre pressure's do you guy & girls recommend?
rear wants to be lower than normal so you get the grip but not too low so you smash the rim, front how ever.
Well thats my 2 cents
Cheers
Exactly the same as you normally use. I've been riding around on my geared cross bike which has about 90psi in each tyre. Seems fine to me.
ride in the fluffy stuff, snow that has been compressed by a vehicle has a habit of suddenly giving way throwing you off !.
ive done my usual commute all week including sat on my old giant nsr2 with the fr and r tyres as low as possible, using milton keynes redways systems, they have been compacted by feet and the odd bikes but in 70 miles i never lost it once and the last 4 rides (28 miles) never put a foot down,
now im not saying its correct but runniing them almost flat worked for me, we had approx 5-6 inches of snow and i havn't seen any melt yet, actually looking forward to more, i spent 12+ hrs in it last week to and from work abd found it quite similar to woburn/brickhill on a soggy day lol
