But rain on top of snow is even worse. It'll ice up something terrible.

{Go home early then, if it gets too bad you might have an accident and have to be off work for longer}

Well it would if i was in a car or the bus, some roads are blocked and buses aren't running because they can't get up the hills

Yep over here in Stoke we've actually got a decent fall this time. Not like the thin stuff of Monday. And it's still coming. Yay.

No worries about getting to work either. Got the heave how in Jan. So only have to worry about how I pay the bills. No moral worries for me.

Out to play later this AM. I'll try to remember my camera today.

Got 5" here in Kettering, and it's still going!!

Only down side is I'm sat in a hotel room on the side of the A14, and my bikes are at home in Cheshire.

Might go home today, don;t wanna risk the Friday madness

Drac it's a dig at the reported depths down south this week. 12" reported looks an awful lot like 5" when you see it in photos or on the telly. Some people including the press appear to have let the excitement get to them. We finally got a couple of inches last night but inland there is proper snow as Martin says. Wonder if there will be hysteria and mass absenteeism?
