What a blast - 2-3 inches of snow have fallen since babyswadey let me go to bed at 5am, nothing cleared of gritted, the A609 more or less impassable to all but 4x4s on the hill into Ilkeston, lorries stuck on the hill out of Trowell....

Cruised in past 8 miles of stationary traffic, loads of grip in the snow from the Trailrakers to answer that question, had an absolute blast!!

We've had a massive dump here in Leighton Buzzard. 2-3" cars strewn all over the place.
But not me I was an 'Ice road trucker' in my landrover this morning.

Stoner, you have no idea!

There was the pissed 'city gent' who caused a commotion going to bog on a train. He was banging on the door shouting at the person inside (a girl!) to f'in hurry up. When he got inside, he was ages in there (I was sitting outside the bog with my bike(night ride over in Epping) and when he came out he'd shat ALL over the floor. Dirty bastid

Porchester Road was fun! I stopped to ask the car behind to make sure she left a big gap following me down the hill - she told me that I was holding her up and that I should just **** off!!! Fortunately the next driver in the queue agreed not to hound me 6 inches off my back wheel...

I wondered if the "massive dump" in Leighton Buzzard had been left by the bloke on the train......?

pahhhh,

1.5 slick panaracer touring tires

calliper brakes

steel rims

no brakes and no grip, made southampton street (Reading) interesting, especialy when everything goes sideways

Took me an hour to cover the 6 miles to work on my bike. Off road sections were fun but hard work, disappointed that someone had already spoiled the virgin snow. On road sections a bit slippy, kept leaving sidewinder tracks
