Woke up this morning (like most of us?)to a crisp white blanket of fresh blown snow. Sweeeeeeetttt!!
Absolutly gutted i cant go snowboarding with the usual suspects/family this season although i will get a week away "with the lads"....so......... give me a quick fix chaps........ show us your snowy pics to get us all in the mood !!!
If everyone who saw snow last night/today is going to start a new thread its going to be a long day ๐
6 inches here, no work for me today!
6 inches (snow) in southend essex, 1 snowboard masacred for the kids, fitted with a rope to hold onto an grip tape to sit on, my kids will be the fastest today!!!
lots and lots in Sussex/Kent. Had to get to work so had an 'interesting' ride / trek to a station with functional trains.
Fun watching the idiot drivers trying to get through frankly impassable roads (this was early, like 4:30am before the ploughs and gritters had been out). There were a fair few abandoned cars too - didnt see that in the snow earlier this year. Helped push 3 cars out of drifts too...
You can never get enough snow !
Already missing the slopes so badly - desperate to get out there.
Usually have at least 2 or 3 weeks each season and just starting to do the really lairy off piste/pristine powder/park stuff.
my lad loves it too - trouble is he is almost better than i am !

Great ride in this morning, lovely unfrozen snow is pretty rare, usually it's a ballache.
I gave a bloke on a Marin full suss a bit of a cheer today... I thought wearing shorts deserved it..
It took me almost two hours to do 13.5 miles this morning. What started out as a laugh just became a grind and I was forced to use roads or I would never have reached my work.At times I was in my easiest gear (1x9) and could barely move forward.
It is really going to be a bugger getting home, but my Alpine is sparkly clean for a change! ๐
So "Pinches" what do you keep in those pens, chickens?
Halfway to work my back brake decided to stop working which was quite fun at times. Bar the road I live in and the road into the car park at work it's was just a case of avoiding the piles of grey slush and the cars who hadn't cleared their windscreens properly!
Yes, its a hen house. the other is just a garden shed, behind the koi pond
Going for a night ride in an hour or so - should be fun! ๐
is st andrews the only place in the uk without snow?
๐ฅ
Fort William has only had the faintest of dustings so far, I live in hope of waking up to a thick blanket of snow ๐
Despite promises of blizzards from 1am last night - Nottingham has next to sod all; in fact i thinks its all thats left from yesterdays mild dusting ๐
Kojak.....
Sweet pic - where is that??
hah. Bert and dougie in the last pics chip butty?
