[Closed] snapped rear qr axel : ~( danger numpty alert

Went for a bike ride yesterday having fitted a new chain and middle ring. I was expecting some grief with it jumping as the cassette had maybe 1000 miles on it. It would not work , in any gear at all , thinking it was worn beyong all hope I gave up and went home. I had already purchased PG980 so pulled the cassette off. To my shock the whole freehub came to bits after pulling the skewer out. The axel had sheared about 2 cm inside the freehub, and i didn't even know, the tension on the skewer must have held it all together.
Are the axel's replacable or do i have to bin the whole wheel. Its a rare Xclass ( German) 22h hub
