Probably the wrong forum but I don't really do UK climbing. I have snapped the pully tendons on the middle finger (left hand) and haven't climbed for a few months now....gutted.
Don't suppose anyone else here has done this? if so please give me some hope that I might get back to the wall/crag as I'm really missing it now but from what I've read they probably wont operate so I'll have to live with this.

Dunno about your tendons but could you maybe talk me through converting my existing central heating to a ground source heat pump. Tahnks.

Pretty much need to strip out what you have and go for under floor heating which works way better for low temperature systems like GSHP, might need some space around the house for the pipe network also......glad I could be of some service ๐Ÿ˜€

There's a guy at our local wall who is missing a couple of fingers on one hand - I think the two middle ones. So even if you don't get it fixed, there's still hope...

There are lots of people on UKClimbing who have suffered pulley injuries of varying degrees of severity. You will get some pretty reasonable advice over there if you supply a bit more detail and ask nicely.

This is the best resource online I've found.

Good luck.

Amputating the affected digit seems a bit extreme...
