Just changing the cable on my bike and when finishing up I was screwing the top cap back on and unfortunately the small screw has snapped off at the head!
I wasn't even tightening it that hard when it snapped.
Any ideas on how to remove the remaining, its not protruding so I cant get any pliers etc on it to get a grip!
Pissed off and hoping I dont need a new shifter (£120+!)

Super glue something to the end?
I did think of that but if its screwed in tight then I think the glue will be too brittle and will snap.
Small drill bit on a Dremel, then a small EZ-out
Small EZ-out almost always snap unless they are used on an almost loose fastener.
You could drill and tap the existing bolt to take a smaller fastener ,
if that cap is cosmetic , or drill it out with a left handed drill which may unscrew if lucky.
A pillar drill or friend with one will greatly help.
Can you get at it from behind? On the XX shifter I have in the garage the nut that threads into is drilled right through, so if you were super careful with a very small bit you might be able to screw it out from the back.
