What is the best way to clean sweaty (non removable) helmet straps? Thanks! ๐Ÿ˜•

I like to wash mine in the shower then give it a wipe with antibacterial hand gel. It comes up a treat after that, sometimes the wife might give it a clean if she's feeling in the mood. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I let it hang in the back garden for a while, give it an air.

Shower for me too, but IPA in a spray bottle works a treat on the straps as an anti bacterial agent.

Your lucky. My wife won't touch mine even with gardening gloves on ๐Ÿ™

Wire brush & dettol is the only cure for a stinky helmet

I haven't washed mine since 1987.. it eventually develops a thick crust which seems to keep the flies off..
