Looking for a 10m cartridge wind up hose for my mixer tap in kitchen for ease to wash bike at back door to save using the hose at trail head all time
Don't use anythign that relies on one of these to attach it;

they blow off the tap 9 times out of ten and you end up with a very wet Kitchen.
if it were me I'd look to get let a proper threaded tap into the pipe under the sink if I couldn't run soemthing to an outside tap.
Rented flat mate Not an option.
don't know how flush with cash you are but those Mobi washers look quite good?
i use one of those things wwaswas has added a picture of
you do need to be carefull - put it on tight, keep the water pressure sensible and [u]dont[/u]leave knots in the hose or step on it - but it basicaly works fine - you can get them in B&Q
Aye a mobi washer might be a good idea - would fit in well with my 4x4 camper conversion in the new year. Can you run em off mains ?
