So my headset collapsed at the weekend and as the top bearing fell to pieces some of it got caught between the bearing cup and the steerer. As a result it's made a small gouge. It's probably about 10mm long, 1mm wide and about as deep as a the thickness of a thumbnail.
Will I die?

Undoubtedly you will be killed by that. Best give the forks to me. It is for the best!

Oh. The internals might actually be useful to me. Replace the useless 2step air ones i have.
