Fitting my wife's 26" mtb out for commuting with some 26"x1.25 slick tyres.
I popped into a LBS yesterday while in town. They sold me some 26 x 1-3/8 / 1-1/4 kenda inner tubes. Sounded about right to me, especially the 1-1/4 bit.
Tried installing them today and they are too large, there is far too much tube, they seem to be for a larger circumference wheel......after a bit of a look on Sheldon Brown's site and it seems that they may be for 650B wheels and tyres....
Is this correct? If so what inner tubes do I need?
oddly enough youll be wanting 26 x 1.25 tubes ..... continental make em !
Thanks TR.
Hoped it would be as simple as that. And just been looking around on internet and see that CRC have the continental ones.
Posted a bit rashly, in the frustration that LBS had sold me the wrong tubes and that I had been a dim wit!
