I have always run SB8 in the summer and really like them other than the fact they do not like flints and puncher a lot and I woundered if there is any thing else worth trying out but as I like in Kent I need some thing that rolls well on the roads sections of the rides round here.

flinty where I ride too - maxxis larsen seemed pretty robust (can't remember which variation I had though)
wtb weirwolf lt (one with the inner peace sidewall) also similar(ish) and has lasted OK
