Need to replace my SLX pads, apart from Shimano's could someone be kind enough to point me in the direction of decent alternatives ?

Either Discobrakes or Superstarcomponents for me.
Pick a more expensive sintered, kevlar pad for when it's wet and muddy most of the time. Organic if if it's dry or really hilly.
I don't bother changing on a ride by ride basis but often switch when a set runs out in April or November.
