I went to change the jockey wheels on my mates SLX rear mech today.
The lower (jockey wheel) bolt came out easily, however the upper bolt securing the upper wheel just won't undo, it's tight but just spins in the mech.
Any clues?

Is there a circlip on the end of the bolt??
Not 100% myself, as I don't run SLX

from the looks of the exploded view diagram, it should just unscrew

Thats the main problem, it won't unscrew.
Might try a drill with a allen key fitting to kinda blast it out, works with cleats
