I've seen a few posts about shimano sticky pistons and non returning levers, but not about the issue I've had recently.

JRA, squeeze the lever to be met with a lot of resistance, very little braking, then it pops and you get all the brake.

It feels like the servowave guide is worn in one place and it needs to get over a notch to actuate properly. though it doesn't look like it's any different form the other one. Could be one of the lever piston seals folding perhaps?

anyone else had this problem? is there a fix?

I've got another lever on order anyway as they're only £25, but would be nice to see if there is a fix, otherwise I'll have a fettle myself once the replacement comes.
