any help would be great, messed about for too long now,

tried tension and limit screws, the usual lark, clearance over big ring.

the mech wont even shift back down onto the granny ring now and thats with the cable slackened totally, likes its siezed or something, but it cant be.
its an SLX triple chainring front mech, worked perfect before i took it off other frame to put on the one its on now.
any ideas?

is it hitting the frame? i know that sounds silly but sometimes if your chain line has changed the front mech will need to be in a different place. iv seen it a few times in the shop. what crank set is it?

sometimes over tightening the limit screws causes it to not go to the opposite extreme. Due to the shape of the cam they touch. Try loosening both off 3 or 4 turns but remember where you had them.

are you setting the mech limiters up with the cable attached? try taking the cable off and adjusting the limiters.

good luck

Is it upside down ๐Ÿ˜†

Broke in my book unless there's a limit screw jammed all the way in?
