From what I can gather it doesn't come with spacers so can I use my existing spacers or would it be better getting the BB dual pull type front mech.?

I ordered an SLX mech last year or perhaps the year before for my 456..
came with spacers.. fitted like a dream.

It does come with spacers. You just leave them on instead of peeling them off.

You'll need to make sure its top-pull too
