Just fitted one of these to my 456. Slapped it on, tightened cable and it works perfectly from the off. No chain rubbing in any gear.

Nice when that happens!

Bonus, I found it solved the chain dropping issues I'd had using a standard front mech.

Was dubious until I tried it, works very well.
Seems to have a slightly different shape of cage and makes the 36-22 shift far better than a 3 ring mech ever did.

got one of these 12months ago, took m9months to find a frame it fit, the bike I bought it for and the other 2 I tried it on either had a bottle bosses, chain stay or rear tyre in the way.
But yes nice working, cheap bit of kit.

interesting, I've had some chain rub since I went 22 / 36 (reaches for CRC link)

I assume these work ok with a 3 speed shifter or would a need a double specific shifter as well?

Lighter than the XT triple-ring equivalent, too. They do feel a bit cheap and nasty but they work really well.

Very happy with mine, I bought the top swing version

Much better fit with my 36 bash, made the old triple look silly in comparison
