Is anyone running the SLX double chainset without dedicated front mech and shifters - I assume it's possible, but is shifting compromised without the correct mech?

Yeah, I run a double and bash on my Handjob..
I use XT Shifters and XTR Mechs..
Works fine here.. 😀

It'll be fine Vince just set the limit screw on the front mech so you can't overshift

cheers all. The bloody things have just gone up in price at crc and merlin too. Can't believe they've both just restocked at the new price.

One or both may have just bumped up their prices regardless (And be selling pre-price-rise stock). They're still a lot less than the RRP
