Compared to avid elixirs for example?

I've got them on my blue pig. They have plenty of stopping power, but I don't really like the servo wave stuff. Having cone from Hayes 9s, they feel spongy, even though there's no air in them

Just like XT's but without the infinite adjustment.

i run both, elixirs started off great, but seem to have gotten steadily worse. slx's seem to be going just as strong as the day they were fitted.
elixirs aren't bad brakes tho, perhaps i'm just not paying them enough attention.

I like them, much better than the Juicy 3s they replaced ๐Ÿ™‚

Nice brakes, mine feel nice and powerful, the only thing i would say is they don't feel quite as direct as others but don't let this put you off. mine are probably the best brakes ive had for the money paid (135 inc disks)

Very good for the money.

Powerful, reliable, good modulation.

Not too bad but not as good as my old (pre Servowave) XTRs

Easy install, easy bleed, some decent deals around (check Ribble if you don't need rotors, IRIC). Have a set on the Anthem X and run them with silly pretty Hope floaty rotors and they work a treat. What could possibly go wrong? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Don't look as nice as XTs.

Surely that's the important thing?

XTs are cheap on Merlin too.

I just treated myself to a set.

Superb
