Yup, it's July and cold and rainy....

Nevermind, I have most of August off!

Was remembering the STW article about riding in Slovenia- can anyone remember the company they went with?

Has anyone been? Any cop?

Cyclactive are using Dixie's farm. See my first link.

You'll struggle to have a bad time there Joe.

That's what I want to hear!

Dave are you taking the camper van option? That sounds quite unique

The Company is

Mobile Adventures

It is owned and run by Marko Perpar.

I was out with him in Maribor last Saturday (11th July)

I can thoroughly recommend him as a guide. He speaks excellent English, has good trail knowledge and is a good rider.

We did the Maribor section of the magazine article except for the fact we rode up Pohorje and did not take the cable car.

One specific tip if using him just as a guide and not taking your own bike, but very specific about the bike and its specification that you wish to hire. XC hire bikes in Maribor don't generally come with disc brakes. I am sure Marko will sort out a more UK spec hire bike given enough notice.

Drop me an email if you have any specific questions.
