Looking to change something on a frame and need a slotted caliper mount for a rear stay, wher can I get one from?
Help
?
if you have vertical drop outs then the location of any IS calliper mounts will be to IS specification so if you were to "move" the location of the calliper it may not align correctly with it's associated rotor. If you want to change the rotor diameter then you need an appropriate calliper adaptor.
If you have horizontal drop outs but fixed IS calliper mounts then that is a bad frame design.
EDIT: or do you mean you want to remove an old IS mount and weld a new one on your old frame?
No I need slotted disc mounts as the frame has horizontal dropout this way caliper alignment will be easier
Nick, could you link to these adapters, please, couldn't find them on the web (pic seems to be from the/a Raleigh website).
