Not sure about that.

Seller has 100 positive feedback however attached d lock is a bit strange.

That's not a Stumpy. It's an FSR XC so a 100mm travel bike it was about before the camber I think?

Yup fsr xc. Circa 2008 to 2010. Nearly bought one and went for a trance instead as it had a touch more travel.

I'm guessing the shed was easier to cut through than the d lock.

He might have 100% feedback but that could all be from selling stolen goods.

Avoid!

Suspicious as you like with a d lock on it and the wrong frame description.

Also, does that front chainring look enormous?

Seems strange that the shock is not attached to the frame either, I'd give a wide berth myself.

Someone ask if it comes with the D-Lock and post the reply!

Could be a house clearance I guess, but yeah, I'd steer clear

Incredibly tempting to spam him up with loads of questions... ๐Ÿ˜›

Especially since I'm such a bar steward.

Edit: Also selling a teddy bear for 5 grand...

Does the D Lock that is attached to the frame come
With the sale ?
And if so, do you have the keys.

I would need a decent lock, there are a lot of bike thefts in my area.

Cheers.

Hi, no the D-lock would be removed, i did not have the keys for it at time of photo but do now.
I can include the D-lock but at an additional cost and yes it would have a key.
Let me know what works best for you, Thank you!

Hi, I'm interested in the Spesh.
What's up with the D-Lock? You have keys?

Got a reply about 7ish

Hi, I have since updated the title to say that it is a comp XC, not a stunt jumper and no I do not have a receipt as I bought it from my friend.

It is not stolen, in fact the rest of the bike was stolen apart from the frame because of that very same lock. I can send you a picture of the bike without the lock and a with the lock and key in image to prove it if you'd like.

Thanks for the casual allegation.

There is a plausible situation that the bike was locked up, then everything bar the frame was stolen. Perhaps this happened at his workplace. Matey then retrieved the frame, putting the lock back on for convenience, e.g. easier to carry. Then once home just dumped the frame, lock and all in the shed/garage. Come bank holiday and time for a clearout, drag it out, snap a few pics and get it on eBay....hoping no one notices the lock.

I'd not buy it though, but that's down to its price not the chances of it being hot ๐Ÿ˜€

He's updated his description, but no pics without lock, or of the lock with key etc.

Does explain why the shock is unbolted at one end...
