Its a brand new Magic Mary 2.35 being run tubeless. The rim is true. Ive checked the bead / rim seating and rode around with it at low pressure, deflated and soaped bead, reseated it. Its 100% in the bead. But there is still a definite wobble, but only a minor 5mm deflection.
Is this likely to settle down after a few rides? I really can't be bothered to swap it out and send back to Chain Reaction.
I've had this with Schwalbe tyres. The rear Racing Ralph on my Giant Anthem came like this. It doesn't affect the ride but I'd send yours back for a replacement if you're not happy.
It won't settle down. It's wonky. Send it back or put up with it. It's like 30%* of schwalbes are made on a Friday afternoon after a liquid lunch.

If it doesn't affect the ride then i'll just put up with it. Ive slung the box it came in and the tyre is full of sealant. Plus i'm lazy.
I have this same problem which I think is due to my own stupidity of ignoring my hardtail for too long and it sitting on flat tyres. I just swapped the DHF 2.5 for the DHR2 2.4 I’d previously had on the back. That one isn’t quite as bad but there’s still a sudden 3-4mm of wobble at one point, which I guess is where the weight was on the flat tyre.
I’m taking the bike on holiday on Monday. Can I ignore it or do I need a new front tyre? Thankfully the new DHR2 2.3 on the back is all good!
