Looking at the possibility of some new 29er forks for my Clockwork and these 3 seem to be similar prices at the moment. Can't decide on them though so any experiences of X-fusion slides, Reba’s or Manitou Marvels greatly appreciate. Thanks

I've got slides on my clown bike and for the money can't fault them. They need a quick bounce or two when I first set off as they get a little sticky when left for a few days but, once they've been cycled a few times they're grand.

I have the Manitou tower Pro - which uses a coil for soft initial small bump sensitivity, mixed with an air spring for the big hits. Mine came from CRC for £220, which is an absolute steal, and I love them.

Slides are pretty good, well constructed, bit heavier than Rebas i think.

Couple of the team riders are using them and like them after using Rebas or sids for last few years.

Rebas are also good and dampers are upgradable another team rider has been running a set of custom build RCT3 ones for a year and loves them

Whilst not 29er spec I can't fault my reba's going well past four months. Easy to service too.
