I am thinking of buying a complete bike from Slane Cycles, Belfast, NI, and I wondered if anyone has any experience - good or bad - when dealing with them. I read some less-than-flattering comments on a website last year, but the prices look very tasty.

Come on, someone must be happy with them - or not?

I went in to look at road bikes and some Oakleys last summer and the guy was very helpful.

I bought my Scott Spark from them about a year and a half (possibly two) years ago.

Answered my questions (promptly via email) about stock etc and arrived in a couple of days as promised.

Not much else to say really, haven't had to deal with any issues so couldn't say how quickly they would sort them out.

I live about 1 mile from Slanes and got a scott road bike from them. They do alot of top end road bikes and scott mtb by internet sales. What bike are you looking at, have you phoned them?

I am looking at a Bianchi. I got quick replies by email, just a bit nervy about some negativity I read. Thanks for your input.

I bought some bar tape off them last year. Their communication was very good and it arrived next day free post.

Not the worlds biggest purchase but i'd happily use them again.
