Does skype get really bad around busy time i.e the end of work? The mrs is in India at the moment and its the only way in which we can speak without it costing the earth but it seems pretty bad a lot of the time cutting in and out delays etc

There is no bad time with skype. I use it more or less evenly from 8am-9pm and it's reasonable . Perhaps its the Indian or your networks?

skypes usually fine. only time I have issue sif there's 5+ people int he call
