Last weekend, me and a couple of mates hoped to bivvy on Skiddaw for a sunrise descent on Sunday morning but when the forecast showed fog, we took advantage of the Keswick Mountain Festival and lived out of the back of our vans for the weekend.
Here’s our plan B. I’m gutted I’m not at it again this weekend. At least we have an excuse to get back soon and tick off the bivvy.
