For those who rode (and those who did not) I am hoping to have the full 2000+ images indexed, up and available for you to peruse from late afternoon Monday.
A cracking w/end's riding & in stark contrast to 2008's mud-fest!

There are now 2 of us re-naming your images for the www.muddybum.co.uk final upload.
Stop updating us on here and get on with the uploads people! ๐
I have made a real effort to try and bring what I belive to be a fresh and different appraoch to some aspects of mountain biking.
This is not easy as there are some fabulous photographers who, if you have been racing / eventing / competing for the past 5+ years you'll be fully aware of.
So - what do you do, given the excellent competition?

This is very similar to one of the image that was awarded to me (one of three) "Honourable Mentions" by the judges at the 2009 PX3 International Photographic Awards.
I won one of the awards out-right for my shoot at Jaguar Car in Brum.

Aww 7 hours on course and none of me ๐ Anyone got any of 417? My race number might have been a little hard to read. I'd have been in a retrobike black jersey with blue and white giro helmet and 3/4 black bibs on a goldish Merlin Malt. I recall getting photographed tonnes with nice DSLRs and off camera flash but I can't seem to find anything.
www.muddybum.co.uk
The site is now live, as is Rob's.
Can't see a 417 & yes, I was using up to 3 off-camera flash with Wizards.
I even managed to ride on the Sunday. I did promise myself that I wouldn't - but I couldn't resist! 48 isn't too bad I guess.
I'm supposed to be training for the Keilder 100......
There's a gallery still to go up of race numbers I can't ID.
I'll let you know when this 2nd gallery is available.
