Me too. Got my mud tyres, bum lard and rice pudding. Sorted.

Last year I had to pee 3 times a lap towards the end tho, any idea why (too much caffenie maybe)?- probably cost me a lap!

Happened to me. Being well hydrated and full of caffeine is my guess.

Riding a Salsa Ti hardtail. If it rains, and we're far enough ahead, I'll resort to the SS as I don't fancy trashing my transmission in the mud.

Spud, I've had nothing through since confirmation either. Mind you it was exactly the same last year, I had to email Pro Velo to get the info pack a few days before the event.
I'm taking a rigid 29er 1x9 to run in dry/ish conditions but will convert to SS if it turns to slime, also a full suss 26er in case my old bones need a rest.

Pairs, but my partner has knackered his knee and has his NHS MRI scan on Sunday at 9am! I don't think the partnership is going to be 50/50!!

Spud/Collie, I reiceved the information pack thing sometime ago so might be worth an email.

What ratio you soloist singlespeeders using? I think I'd have to granny gear it to survive 24hrs on an ss!

Whatever happens it's going to be 'sticky,' think rain's forecast there this week...

Depends which forecast is most accurate, Metcheck say its going to be dry but the Met office predict heavy rain on Friday and showers over the weekend. I guess that makes packing simple - take everything!

Me - team of 4. Getting the Orange EVO something hardtail built up this week, digging the trailrakers out of the cupboard and praying for rain - some mud might level the playing field and make up for my mediocre fitness !

i'll be there solo'ing, ticking the laps of again as last year. Not expecting any great result as dislocated and fractured my hip on New Years Day and wasn't expected to be riding above a couple of hours by this point in the year!! If it rains though i'll be the one heckling from the side!! Say high i'll be the loud one that never stops talking!!!:O)

One of my team mates lives near the course and went watch a bit of the running over the weekend. He reckons the course looked pretty dry and in not bad nick considering the rain we have had recently.

D'oh - Our team is down to 3 now; 1 member knocked off his bike on the morning commute so out of SiTS (we'd have believed him if he'd just said he'd got man flu though, instead of that daft excuse!)
