Putting new wheels on the swift and toying with white rims instead of black for a change but not sure if they would look cool or gawdy. Anyone out there fitted white rims on one?

If you go with white rims you might as well get some furry dice too.

I've got/used both, I prefered black, although if someone still made them I'd have silver.

Black.

Ever tried to clean a white rim? Once is enough. White (for Crests anyway) is heavier too.

Google image search for "singular swift": no white rims until near the bottom of page 2.

We're done here.

Silver, (just to be a stereotypical STWer and answer a question with a choice not presented in the question), along with stem and post in silver too. Classic, the frame deserves it.

A little silver/chrome/white can look good on a Swift sure but it only works if it's in the detailing, such as a stem and/or saddle. Rims is too much IMO.

I say go easy on the colouring and let the frame speak for itself - it's a thing of elegance without being messed with.
