Hey! I’ve set up my Genesis Tarn singlespeed (well, trying). My problem is it’s 148x12 and the mech hanger kicks back quite far so when I use a tensioner it catches on the sprocket. Does anyone know of a longer than usual tensioner or any other way I can tension the chain?
Problem Solvers chain tensioner is parallelogram type takes up more slack
I don’t think that would work as it’s a bolt through rear axle and the hanger is part of the dropout.
Use something like a Blackspire Stinger on the front maybe?
Easy if you have ISCG mounts. More difficult but still possible using BB mount.
Bull, that looks perfect! I’ll give it a go.
Paul Melvin which is baically a RD replacement.

Probably a Shimano Direct Mount hanger, so not compatible with a regular chain tensioner.
Your best bet would be to find a regular derailleur hanger.

It sure is. Best I can manage is 135x10. 🙂
