We are looking to go way for a week next year and Singletrack safari have come up, I’ve not heard much about them, has anyone hear used them and if so how did you rate them?
I used them for the same trip back in 2013 and it ran perfectly.
Well I went in 2015 ( or there abouts I think) and it was mixed. TBF to them it was their last week, and everyone was a bit de-mob happy. The Hotel - I see they've moved, was a bit shit if I'm honest, I was sharing with a friend, but really the beds were so close and the room so small it wasn't really suitable and the food wasn't all that. The guiding was good - when the boss wasn't around. When he was, he was pretty much constantly off the front trying to get Strava times down every trail. It was fairly annoying to be sent blind "following" some-one who's shot off into the distance and you come to a turn option and you've no idea...
Andorra itself is an am amazing location to ride though, it's like the Alps, but there's no bugger there, so much fewer folks on the trails, much more choice and much less developed away from town.
Went in 2017 and it wasn't great TBH, most of the time we were riding in a massive group (12+) so there was lots and lots of delays for punctures and mechanicals etc. The riding days were far to short and most ended mid afternoon.
Andorra was very nice and would definitely go back there but not with Singletrack Safari.
Thanks for the replies, they are a bit off putting.
I have used them 3 times. I have only ever done the Vallnord bike park package so cannot comment on guiding or anything like that. All 3 times have been good. Everything was organised as it should have been and have no complaints.
