Hi all,
It seems our front page polls are proving popular. There's a few hundred votes a day appearing, regardless of topic.

By all means feel free to send me ideas for future polls - and to suggest obvious answers that I've missed out. Post here or email me.

There's a new one up now by the way. ๐Ÿ™‚

This post is here for the 19% of readers who ticked the 'You never offer the choice I'd go for' button on the current poll... So far, no one's been in touch. No one... ๐Ÿ˜›

yep, Beer is a food, they come from hops, and they are green. My Mum always told to me to eat my greens. Falling off the bike has taken a few teeth out, so I prefer to drink my greens ๐Ÿ˜€

Bacon butties was the obvious thing to miss off the post ride food list

Bacon butties are for before the ride, surely? That's why rides from my house never start until gone 11am... ๐Ÿ™‚

Next poll topic will be:
Mountain bikes should be made from:
Steel
Aluminium
Carbon
Bamboo

Sound OK to everyone? Suggestions always welcome... It's your website too.
And there seems to be a fair number of people who know there's a front page - but if you don't visit it it, you get to miss all the news, so it's up to you.

Best post ride food after a long ride is a double burger, cheese, bacon, chocalate all eaten in about 5 mins, i have tried therse here recovery drinks/food but nothing hits the spot like a burger, my idea for a poll would be about cycle clothing and do we as cyclists always wear the right gear ie, mtb or road, or just w ride in hatever comes to hand, it may of been done already though

What are you going to do with the results of all the polls?

Market research for better targeted advertising, I'd surmise.

How many bikes do you have? (Given the high proportion of Singlespeeders on this forum, count one for each gear)...

or...

My Mountain bike is mainly
1) used for commuting
2) ridden at the weekend
3) ornamental
4) a fashion statement
5) a laundry stand

or...
What is the best MTB magazine? ๐Ÿ˜‰

[thread hijack]

@Chipps

I'm not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong, but I can't ever seem to vote on the polls, as an error message tells me I've 'already voted' for each poll, when I haven't.

There's a new poll up about riding to work - what's the 10% answer that we've not included in the answers then?

Working from home?

I usually do, but get a lift half way and then pedal the rest when I do have to go in.

You're mostly covered under "Yes, then train/lift/other (3%, 4 Votes)"
And working from home means you don't ride a bike to work then, doesn't it? ๐Ÿ™‚
