I've got a Kinesis singlespeed mtb, which currently has a Fox 140 van R fork on the front, and the lack of lockout is meaning that when im out of the saddle climbing I might as well be on a pogo stick!

I'd possibly upgrade the internals, but the stanchions are already scored from lack of tlc through its life before I bought it.

So what do you suggest for forks?

I thought maybe DT swiss or pace as they have the 'launch control' feature, and wanted something reasonably light.

Must have lockout!!!

The frame is corrected for a100-130mm fork so something with 130mm travel and lockout, thats reasonably light without breaking the bank! any suggestions???

The only non rigid fork I would consider would be a Rockshox Sid/Reba/Rev XX with the hydraulic lockout... but that would clutter up the handlebars and detract from the simplicity of riding a singlespeed... or would it ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

Rigid!!! are you mad!!!???

Would prefer it without the handlebar clutter, its never too much trouble in my life to reach down and flick a lever round!!

Any experience of pace or DT swiss from people?
