Was assuming the cotic escapade still had horizontal drop outs but appears it's evolved to vertical. Looking for alternatives any suggestions  much appreciated! Needs clearance for 38-40c tyres... I'm 5'11" so around a  56cm if anyone has anything lurking about for sale mk 1 escapade?

I'm using an On-One Pompino/Pompetamine frame for a single speed which fits the bill so if you could find one of those second hand.

Might be worth looking at the single speed specialist websites:  https://single-speed.co.uk/collections/parts/frames-and-framesets  ,  https://www.santafixie.co.uk/track-frame.html  , etc.

I have a Genesis Day One I run with 40mm / and CX tyres, has horizontal drops. Not for sale, but there are loads for sale.

Or Charge Plug SS, although its has EBB if I recall....there is a moon on a stick version that they did for Grinduro with hydraulic brakes. One for sale here for £280

All City also do a non 853 version. I think your looking around 1k for 853, 500 for non. Triton & Charlie are purveyors of these wares.
