I'm on the look out as well. Currently riding a a Kona Major One SS cross bike, nice and light but the brakes always annoy me in winter, as performance diminishes... and that horrible grinding noise appears.
Looked at the Genisis Day One but a 520 steel against Scandium, I think I'd notice the extra weight.
